FAQ

  • First, begin with surface preparation.

Clean the contaminated substrate thoroughly with water to remove any dirt, stains, or algae. Once the surface is clean, 90% of the work is considered complete.

Next, apply the primer generously to the weakened rooftop substrate. This will reinforce the surface while enhancing adhesion and ensuring deep penetration of the waterproofing material.

Proceed to crack and joint repair. For damaged areas, use a brush to apply a small amount of waterproofing compound, then place the reinforcing fabric (non-woven fabric) over it before it dries. Once the fabric is applied, coat it again with the waterproofing material. After drying, repeat the process once more for added durability.

At floor-wall intersections and corner joints, apply the fabric in an “L” shape to prevent leaks through gaps.

All crack repairs should be performed in two layers.

When mixing the main waterproofing product, pour the liquid component into a clean bucket first, then add the powder. Mix thoroughly until you achieve a uniform consistency.

Apply the mixture in three coats for complete waterproofing.

If a different color is desired, apply a topcoat of your preferred color. For best results, apply the topcoat twice, followed by a final single coat to finish.
